About Norwegian Cruise Line: Norwegian broke the cruise line stereotype years ago by introducing “free style” cruising as well as specialty dining.  Both of which everyone said wouldn’t work.  Passengers loved it though.  Being able to do what you want, when you want and dress the way you want was so widely accepted most cruise lines have adopted it to some extent now.  Their ships range from 2000 passengers to over 4500 and their class of cabins is just as wide being the first to introduce studio cabins to the exclusive luxury of the Haven, an incredible cruise within a cruise experience.

Entertainment and Activities: The entertainment on NCL is as diverse as their cabins and the people that sail on them.  From full Broadway theatrical productions, incredible musical performances, comedians, prohibition night club and themed parties, there is something for everyone.  The activities vary from ship to ship but can include crazy slides, race tracks, to laser tag and the interactive games shows around the ship.  It’s one of our favorite cruise lines for groups because they have done a great job of offering something for everyone.

Dining: NCL proved everyone wrong when they went full steam had with specialty dining.  Now, with almost a dozen specialty restaurants on top of the included options, those looking for fantastic food have more than they can try in a weeks cruise.

What groups are good on NCL? People of all ages and interests will enjoy NCL with their wide range of activities, staterooms, and entertainment.  Especially good for multi generation family reunions or work events with a wide variety of demographics.  Because the groups can include drinks and dining packages, it makes this cruise very reasonable for any budget.

Group Benefits: Norwegian is one of a couple cruise lines that offer discounted prices for groups based on when you take out the group space.  The further out you take it, the better the discount.  Extra perks and discounts can come when you book as few as 5 cabins as well which is way under what most cruise lines require.  Groups may also include free drinks, wifi, specialty dining, and shore excursion credits all the way down to ocean view cabins.

Who is it not right for? We believe Norwegian is enjoyed by most people but the one group that NCL may not be right for is the group of only adults that are looking for more of a relaxed experience with people their own age.  NCL is going to have a wide variety of ages including kids and young adults.  If your group is going on vacation to not have to deal with all that, there are other cruise lines that would fit in that category.
